We are in the mood to spoil you again! Join us for the A-MAY-zing Meander on Tuesday, 22nd of May 2007 – an exclusive May Meander with a menu that reflects the sumptuous autumn/winter dishes that will be served throughout the evening. Park at the Wescliff Hotel for registration, have a delicious glass of Durbanville Hills Wine, while eating delectable canapés made especially by Stefano. Everyone will then leave on the route they have chosen, coming back to the Westliff Hotel for the final decadent cheese course.

Visit the Saxon, The Michelangelo and Melrose Arch, and get to meet Martin Moore, the animated, down-to-earth wine maker from Durbanville Hills Wine. As always, Ceres Fruit Juice and Evian Water will be available throughout the night. The cost per person is only R320 and includes all meals, wines, snacks, and the coach. Numbers are limited to 45 passengers per coach – so be sure you book your place NOW! This promises to be a truly superb evening!

How to Book

No telephone bookings will be accepted; however should you have a query you need answered immediately, please call the number alongside during office hours.

Per return, you will be emailed with confirmation of reservation as soon as possible; all bookings are dealt with on a first come basis. Once confirmation of reservation is sent, payment must be made by direct deposit within 48 hours to confirm the booking.

Additional Information:

The coaches will depart sharply at 19h00 from the Westcliff Hotel (registration from 18h30).

A lucky draw with stunning prizes will take place back at the Westcliff during the final course.

The meal and prize draw should be completed between 22h00 and 22h45.

Only 45 guests per group (3 groups only).

Starter: Saxon – Duck liver and truffle custard, smoked duck and a duck confit salad with a sweet onion chutney

Coach treat: Saxon – Lime and mint slush

Main: Michelangelo – Lamb loin with a confit of lamb and mushroom panzotti on creamed millet with an apple mint compote

Coach treat: Michelangelo – Squid ink risotto

Dessert: Melrose Arch – Chocolate fondant, Chai Masala Panna Cotta, Florentine crunch and Ginger snap

Wine & Cheese (coffee option): Westcliff

Route B:

Canapés: Westcliff

Starter: Michelangelo – Duck Carpaccio with apple molasses mousse and raspberry and walnut vinaigrette

Coach treat: Michelangelo – Truffle Cappuccino Cup with buffalo mozzarella and truffle oil

Main: Melrose Arch – Crispy Prawn, Asian vegetable stir-fry and Satay sauce

Coach treat: Melrose – Pink Peppercorn Hot Chocolate Shot

Dessert: Saxon – Kumquat and Almond pudding, dark chocolate Torte, brown bread ice-cream, coffee vanilla bean syrup and Crème Anglaise

Route C:

Canapés: Westcliff

Starter: Melrose Arch – Wood oven Scallop, Sesame seared Salmon, Chicken and Pistachio steamed Dim Sim, served on a Fennel and Orange Salad

Coach treat: Melrose Arch – Hot and Sour Soup Shot

Main: Saxon – Mushroom crusted beef fillet served, creamed barley, oxtail empanada and a port jus

Coach treat: Saxon – Strawberry Daiquiri

Dessert: Michelangelo – Lemon Grass crème Brule, White Chocolate Panacotta and Praline Ice Cream
