Beginning the green juice journey isn’t always easy. When I started my juicing journey, I spent a lot of time looking for green juice recipes suitable for beginners. I decided to then use this step of my journey to create a number of easy and delicious green juice recipes for beginners. One of my favourites is the sweet cucumber green juice.
This green juice is easy to make (even if you’ve never used a blender in your life before), and is sure to please your palate while providing your body with the vital nutrients from some of my favourite leafy greens.
- 2 cucumbers
- 4 handfuls baby spinach (Swiss chard is a great substitute)
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 5-6 ice cubes
PS: It’s important to ensure all the produce you use are organic.
Place all the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth (takes about a minute). Decant into a tall glass and drink up immediately.
Tip: Enjoy this juice for breakfast for a fantastic boost of energy first thing in the morning!
