singing/songwriting phenomenon JAMES BLUNT, will be performing 3 shows in South
Africa this May kicking off at The Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on Saturday, 24th of May

“James Blunt is incredibly popular among our listeners and his songs are always
requested on our playlist,” said 94.7 station manager Ravi Naidoo. “Fans and critics
alike have described Blunt as a ‘fearless performer who consistently pushes his
music to the edge’ and his concert is guaranteed to be an absolute showstopper.”
BLUNT, who heads to SA after a string of dates in the UK, US, Europe, China and
Japan, was quoted saying “Touring is the most fun you can possibly have. Being able
to perform live with my band is such a great thrill”. Fans and critics alike have
described him as a “fearless performer consistently pushing his music to the edge”,
and his performances as “Fascinating”, “Thrilling” and “Unique”.

In the three years since JAMES BLUNT released his debut album, ‘Back to Bedlam’ it
has sold 11 million worldwide, going No. 1 in 18 countries and top 10 in 35. Locally,
the album is certified Triple Platinum! The album saw him nominated for five
Grammys, landing the first No. 1 single in the U.S. (‘You’re Beautiful’) by a British act
since Elton John’s ‘Candle in the Wind’ and winning two MTV Awards and two Brit
Awards. He has also won two World Music Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards, and two
MTV Video Music Awards, amongst others.

His new album, “All the Lost Souls,” which features the hit single “1973”, and “Same
Mistake”, was released in September last year, and has already reached Platinum
status in SA, being play-listed on almost every radio station in the country.
Playing all the hits that made him a global superstar, including “You’re Beautiful”,
“Goodbye My Lover”, “Wisemen” and “1973” to mention a few , fans can look forward
