Get out you takkies, dust them off, and get ready for Joburg’s most colourful event! This is a sure way to end off your weekend with a big bang!
What is it?
The Color Run is a feel-good, happy, colourful event, where ‘color runners’ of all shapes and sizes wearing pristine white clothing can take a fun run and get covered in prismatic colour along the way. At each kilometre mark, a different coloured powder fills the air and covers the runners, creating an ever-increasing spectrum of colour and beauty. And, at the finish line, the colour festival kicks off and the air is filled with millions of vivid colour combinations as participants get in on the colour throwing fun as well. It’s definitely an event you don’t want to miss!
Jozi has been eagerly awaiting the ‘happiest 5km on the planet’, which will take place from Roosevelt High School near Emmarentia Dam. This event will be brought to Joburg by their sponsor, Capitec, who also, like the Color Run, believes in health, happiness, individuality, freedom of expression, living life in technicolour, having fun and being just YOU. Capitec Bank encourages equality and respect of different individuals, which is why they have one banking solution and service offering that every client is able to access.
