Champagne Cup Recipe

This cocktail was made famous by a Wes Anderson movie – so you know it has to be good. For this one we urge you to skip on the R40 bottle of bubbly and invest in a jug of carbonated wine imported from the Champagne region of France.

1/2 shot orange liqueur
3/4 shot cognac
1/4 shot cherry syrup
3/4 glass brut champagne
Glazed cherries

  1. Add all the ingredients but the champagne and glazed cherries into a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir and strain the mixture into a champagne glass.
  3. Top up with brut champagne of your choice and drop one cherry down the centre of the drink.
