The World’s Easiest Craft Beer Bread

Two ingredients can make one big difference to your braai. Have a look at our no-knead craft beer bread recipe. Need we say more…

Here’s what you need to pull this amazing recipe off:

  • 2 cups self-rising flour (not cake flour)
  • 1 dumpy (330ml) of your favourite beer, freshly opened

Pre-heat the oven to 200°C.
Work with your hands. Don’t use a spatula or spoon or whatever to mix the two together… just make sure your hands are clean.
In a big bowl, mix the two ingredients together and form a ball.
Roll the dough into a fat ball and plonk it onto a baking tray that’s been treated with non-stick spray.
Bake for 30-40 minutes but keep an eye on the bread to make sure it does not burn. Make sure you don’t open the oven until about halfway through the baking process otherwise it’ll fall flat like nobody’s business.
