Join Professional Photographer Lex Hes on Safari in South Africa
From Tuesday, 20th or Monday, 26th to Friday, 30th of May, aspiring wildlife photographers can learn to photograph African wildlife and scenery like a pro with EcoTraining partner and professional wildlife photographer Lex Hes.
“For international and local travelers to natural areas, there is no better way to learn about and photograph the African bush,” said Lex Hes, founder of EcoTraining. “This bush experience will provide a hands-on opportunity for course participants to learn about their subject matter, the flora and fauna of the African bush, and then move into professional instruction on how to photograph this wildlife and nature.”
Throughout this safari experience, course participants will be staying in the renowned Klaserie Private Game Reserve and part of the Greater Kruger National Park. This makes for a very special and unusually affordable bush holiday for this region of southern Africa, while providing excellent opportunities to enjoy prolific birdlife, abundant plains game and regular visits from members of the Big Five.
Accommodation is in cool, en-suite thatched chalets secluded under a thicket of trees. A plunge pool, viewing and dining decks next to the river and a spacious central living area provide an ideal “bush classroom” environment. The lodge is run on solar power and meals are taken in the dining area overlooking a water hole where wildlife literally comes to you. After six days spent in the African bush learning the “subject matter”, learners will begin four days of intensive photography training with Lex Hes.
This 10-day package is priced at R13452.00 per person or just R7952 for the photography course on its own. Each course can be attended as stand alone.
