The 2010 Women’s Show promises to be a world class event in a world class year! Discover an array of products and experience performances, informative talks all dedicated to what women want.
With August having such a strong focus on women, there is a natural drive to create awareness on illnesses that affect all women such as cancer. Dr Eve, sponsored by Gardasil, the new vaccine, will be at the women’s show not only speaking on sex and sexuality but on cervical cancer and how important a vaccine such as Gardasil will be for women.
But it isn’t all health issues, visitors to the show will see fashion shows, belly dancing demonstrations and learn about finances with Standard Bank and Sanlam. Pharmaco is launching a new pedicure product called Milky Foot which promised to change the way we all pamper our feet!
If you are looking for fabulous ideas on food you cannot afford to miss out on Tastic Rice who will be cooking on their stand showing fabulous ideas for menu’s and meals.
There will be great excitement around the Spekko stand where Longevity and Avocado magazines take each other on in a cook off on the Spekko stand at The Women’s show!
Editor’s Sonya Naude and Sasha Zambetti and their respective teams from Longevity and Avocado magazine will draw the crowds once a day to the Spekko stand where they will compete head to head to produce fabulous meals consistent with the given theme for the day.
You will be able to take a load off at the Beeld Champagne Lounge and enjoy a glass of champagne while watching the world go past! The Bonitas Health Stage is close by so be sure to keep an eye on the programme so you don’t miss out on the events you are keen to watch.
The Bonitas Health Stage hosted by Kaz Abrahams will help to empower woman and their health with talks on breast cancer by PinkDrive, talks on changing your life with nutrition and discussions about how your lifestyle can affect your health.
The show will also see Ashley Hayden host on the “How to Stage”, the Levi’s® Original Music Divas bring to life fascinating female facts and personal observations on how to stay sexy, sexual and safe in a world with HIV, as well as a drive to get women to donate a bra at the PinkDrive’s Pink Truck at the show to add to the already existing collection so that the record of 166 701 bras collection can be broken. The bras are then distributed to women who do not have the means to afford such luxuries.
