From a relaxing evening to entertainment for the little ones, there is something for both young and old this December.
The year is quickly drawing to a close, but Bryanston Organic & Natural Market still has some exciting events to share with you! In addition to their regular markets on Thursday and Saturday from 09:00 to 15:00, they will also be hosting their special Moonlight Markets on Tuesday evening on 08, 15 and 22 December from 17:00 to 21:00.
Hosting night markets is one of the Bryanston Organic & Natural Market’s long standing traditions, and offers shoppers and market lovers a relaxed Christmas shopping experience, along with the opportunity to enjoy a wide selection of tasty supper dishes to the accompaniment of good music. The lineup of bands that will be playing each Tuesday evening can be seen on their website.
Day Of Reconciliation Celebrations!
If you are looking for something relaxing to do this Day of Reconciliation (Wednesday 16 December 2015), then why not join in on the celebrations at the market! There will be plenty of Christmas music for your entertainment which will certainly get you into the festive spirit!
• The band for the day will be The Cover Ups, performing on guitar, violin and keyboards, playing their renditions of Christmas favourites.
• The Comforters African Choir will move throughout the market singing cheerful Christmas carols.
• At 10:30, Mzansi Marimba Band will entertain market-goers with African songs and a selection of Christmas carols.
• At 12:00, the Salvation Army Brass Band will play traditional Christmas Carols.
This celebration on the Day of Reconciliation offers a wonderfully entertaining family outing, with plenty of children’s crafting activities including ceramic painting, candle dipping and making, t-shirt painting, wood crafting and sand art.
Something For The Kids!
19 December 2015 will be their last Saturday market for the year, and the mischievous puppets from Spellbound Puppets will be paying the market a visit at 11:00, to enthral children with their presentation of “A Present for Santa”. The puppet show is free of charge, and is followed by a puppet making workshop at R50 per child.
