Fantasy Fayre 2017

Hear ye, hear ye! Faeries, fair maidens and fantastic creatures; steampunk elves, gallant knights and special features. Come one, come all to the dragon’s lair; be sure not to miss the first annual Fantasy Fayre!

What Is It?

You’re invited to the first annual Fantasy Fayre, which promises to intrigue, excite and thrill visitors of all ages. Guests can expect a variety of fun and entertainment at this spectacular event, including a fantasy-themed market filled with stalls offering jewellery, dragons, ceramics, art, clothing, craft beer and delicious food, as well as plenty of merriment! Play a game of kings (Viking chess), try your hand at archery with The Troll Bow Project and axe tossing, or sample Eoin’s Tankard mead while watching Rutherford Forge make weapons. Wander through the castle to the sounds of Trad-Pretoria and travel back in time to the medieval era.

The event will also proudly be supporting Husky Romi Wolf Sanctuary, so expect to see and learn about their gorgeous wolves! And last but not least, dress up for the occasion and stand a chance of winning fantastic prizes in the adult and kids fancy dress categories, and show off your knowledge on all things fantasy with their fantasy quiz!
