The brewery offers fantastic beer experiences which include how beer is made to sampling the finished product. This one-of-a-kind experience is held on Saturdays, starts at 11am and costs R120 per person – so book now to avoid disappointment. There are also several large flat-screen TV’s to catch the latest in sporting action and cheer your favourite team on; plus there’s live entertainment on the weekends. The food isn’t bad either – Gilroy’s Brewery, Restaurant and Pub has won the best Al Fresco restaurant award from West Rand Tourism two years in a row.

Visited Gilroys on Mother's day with a group of 12+. Very busy so food took almost an hour to be served. Pork belly and mash, and pies were good. My son enjoyed the spaghetti and mince.
Fun place with on Sunday afternoon life music. Looked like everybody had fun, even dancing on stage. Beer great, can't judge the food.
One of my favourite places in Johannesburg. Very chilled vibe, especially for a Sunday afternoon. Amazing live music with some old school classics. Food is great (pies are a must). Beer is great...
