Mike Page, Director of Operations and Complex General Manger at Gold Reef City, spoke on his delight over the vote of confidence from the South African youth. This after a survey conducted by HDI Youth Marketeers, polled the opinions of young South Africans between the ages of eight and 22. The survey gauged the influence various brands, products and celebrities have on the SA youth.
Gold Reef City was also recognised as an ICON brand alongside the Sunday Times Generation Next Awards. This was after the release of the 2016/2017 “Ask Afrika” Youth Brands Survey results. “Ask Afrika” has an extensive knowledge of brands, needless to say, as the owners of the local Target Group Index [TGI] licence, they are regarded as South Africa’s leaders in brand expertise. “Ask Afrika” pays tribute to brands that are loyally used by South African youths aged 15-34.
“Ask Afrika” 2016/2017 survey had 71 categories and Gold Reef City came up tops in the casino category. Gold Reef City is renowned for a thrilling gaming rush, a range of activities and memorable experience overall.
