Gold Reef City Theme Park is proud to present Jozi’s Big World Tour for the December holidays. This globe-trotting circus adventure, which runs until Sunday, 11th of January, 2009, takes the audience on a whirlwind world tour through a series of memorable circus acts.
Audiences will join Jozi, the clown, on an exciting adventure, where he swings by Russia, travels through romantic Italy, and revels in the passion of Argentina. Expect to be entranced by the exoticism of China and Mongolia and mesmerised by North American native Indian rhythms in a show that touches every continent of the world – well, except Antarctica.
Jozi, together with his clumsy companions, will have the audience in stitches with his clowning acts in the transitions between the main circus acts. Some highlights of the show include a high-energy performance by Gauchos (Argentinean cowboys), a daring trapeze act with a Russian flavour, amazing Chinese and North American themed strength acts, and Marcello, the Italian musical clown.
Expect to see perching acts, clowning, juggling and so much more in a show that promises to be colourful and exciting family fun for all ages.
There will be two shows daily at 12h00 and at 15h00. The performance is 45 minutes long and admission to the circus is included in the general admission fee to Gold Reef City Theme Park (R120 per person, R70 for kids under 1.2 m).
The Theme Park is open from 09h30 to 18h00 everyday during the Gauteng school holidays except for Christmas Day. All rides only close at 18h00.
