JAM International

JAM International has a division in South Africa that was established in 2004 and provided school meals to SA students. Once the SA government took over the school feeding in 2008, JAM began providing meals to pre-school students. The programme has grown into a holistic Early Childhood Development programme that includes teacher training, infrastructure development and feeding. Now JAM SA provides daily meals to more than 84 000 pre-school students and is supported by KFC Add Hope among others.

Change Coffee

If you want ‘helping’ to be as easy as buying a cup of coffee then you’re in luck with this amazing initiative. What’s even more astounding is how the price of a single cup of coffee once a year can change a child’s life! Change Coffee assists all coffee lovers, coffee drinkers and cafe owners take a proactive stance in alleviating poverty as an act of justice not charity. So get involved by buying your coffee as usual and placing a donation the same price as your coffee, or more.

Dance For Madiba

Dance your way to change with the Dance For Madiba initiative. All you have to do to be part of it is record yourself dancing, make a donation, upload your dance video on the Madiba Jive site, and you even stand a chance to win, courtesy of Pam Golding. Half of proceeds you win will go to a charity of your choice and you keep the other half. Runner-up contestants are awarded a Get Smarter short course for themselves and another person from a disadvantaged background. There has never been a better reason to dance before.
