What Went Down?
This one was for the girls getting together, dressing up to the nines and joining on this fabulous High Tea. When women talk about spilling the Tea, they mean talking about gossip (harmless gossip of course), situation, story or juicy news. And growing up our mothers and grandmothers used to annoy us with making tea for them when people came over. But we may have not known it then, but we know now that, that very cup of tea was a conversation starter.
Here the women got to spend their Saturday afternoon engaging with like-minded ladies from all over the country. Networking and building long lasting relationship. See how important the phenomenon of tea and being a conversation starter is? Ladies felt fabulously pampered, by live entertainment and breathtaking fashion from the finest designers in Africa this was the gathering for strong like-minded women. The High Tea team lives by the motto that goes as follows: “A woman is like a tea bag you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water” that right there is just the metaphorical reflection of strong women. The event took place on the 12th November 2016 at 40 Lyncon Road located in Midrand. If you feel like you missed out on a good time, then be sure to be on the look out for the upcoming events to take place. For more information, click here or here.
