Spring is a wonderful time for a wardrobe revamp. If you feel you need a change, but are daunted by the task, here are a few tips to inspire you.

Try a new style:
If you tend to get stuck in a rut and wear the same styles all the time, it might be time to try something different this spring. When you next go shopping, go in to stores you’ve always passed by but not entered. Try on styles you never thought to wear. If it doesn’t work for you, nothing is lost. My philosophy of the matter is nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Try a new colour:
If you tend to stick to safe colours or just black, then it’s definitely time for a change. This spring it’s all about colour! Try colours you never thought to wear. If you always wear blue, try coral or find your perfect shade of red. When trying a new colour, pay attention to what it does to your complexion. If you are unsure, compare it to a colour you know works for you. If it makes your skin look radiant and your eye colour stands out, then it’s a good colour. If it makes you look yellow or very pale, then it’s not your best colour.

Select the trends that work for you:
Fashion is simply a tool to inspire you to create your own individual look. Avoid being a fashion victim at the expense of looking fabulous, by selecting the trends that will work for your body shape. For example if skinny jeans make your hips look wider, rather wear bootleg or the very trendy wideleg instead. Stylize your look with a blouse in a fashionable colour that suits you or a funky accessory.
