Entertainment hits a fever pitch this September at Emperors Palace Odeon Show Bar with the introduction of Inferno, the brand new sizzling musical and dance spectacular to burst onto stage. Directed, produced and choreographed by Tyrone Watkins Productions, the show runs until February 2007.
The cast includes seven talented dancers: Kim Petersen; Michelle Meth; Philida Le Roux; Sammy Vianna; Jessie Goldswaine; Quintus Jansen and Themba Nofomela. They are joined on stage by three vocalists: Deziree Hennings; Llewellyn Cordier and Wafeeq Saffodien. The programme does not stop there, for the second time only Emperors Palace will include a live band to the mix adding fuel to the fire: J House; Marcus Thatcher and Connie Bentlage.
The three vocalists are unbelievably strong and pull the entire show together with their range and spirit not to mention their steaming hot looks. Deziree Hennings, an experienced vocalist who is making her debut on the Emperors stageis joined by Llewellyn Cordier, a well respected recording artist who has taken South African audiences by storm, and Wafeeq Saffodien, from Idols fame, joins the girls to set the stage ablaze.
The cast comes from all over South Africa including Western Cape; Kwa Zulu Natal; Bloemfontein and Gauteng Province.
Anton van Wyk (Emperors Palace Entertainment Manager) comments, ‘Inferno will ignite your inner imagination with the spectacular musical line-up that includes sections called Steaming; Hot Casino and Sizzling…’ van Wyk continues, ‘This brand new show follows in the footsteps of the incredibly popular The beat goes on, which finished earlier in September. Audiences flocked to the entertainment resort to see the show and Inferno will be no different.’
Inferno will start at 20h30 and runs from Wednesday to Saturday evenings. Tickets are priced as such: R35 per person on Wednesdays and Thursday and R45 per person on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets can be bought at the door. The show is exclusive to the Odeon Showbar at Emperors Palace.
