Irene Village Mall is embracing winter and celebrating life with a signature Wine Festival this year! On the evenings of Thursday 2 June and Friday 3 June 2011 from 18:00-22:00, we will host Cultivino in association with Pick n Pay. The village will be transformed into a bustling winter wonderland with everything one could want to dispel the chill and just chill out! We invite you to dress up in your warmest woollies, scarves and boots and wander around our night market as you would a romantic European village.
Wines, cheeses and other decadent accompaniments will be available for tasting throughout the mall, at a fee of R50 which will also secure a branded glass and goody bag. All the top wine estates are participating and each of our restaurants will also have a unique offering to celebrate winter. The centre courts and piazza will have comfortable lounge areas with heaters and even a cosy fire here and there! Soulful entertainment will create further ambience as you absorb the enticing tastes, aromas and snuggle under one of our fluffy blankets.
Some of the biggest estates in the country are participating, including Robertsons, Bottega, Backsberg, Cape Legend, Arabella Estate, Du Toitskloof, Simonsvlei and Bovlei, not to mention delicious cheeses from Parmalat and Lancewood.
Friday evening’s entertainment line-up includes: Amore Bekker, the popular presenter of “Tjailatyd” on RSG will be cooking two winter dishes from her “Tjailatyd Resepte” on stage in the Piazza from 19:00. She will be followed by the world-renowned mezzo-soprano, Vera-Marie Meyer at 20:00, brought to you by Rapport.
Limited space is available, bookings may be made in advance by e-mailing name, cell number, preferred evening and number of guests to email@example.com
Cultivino will, without a doubt, be the talk of the town this winter!
