Help the Welamlambo Primary School!
As stated by our late former president, Nelson Mandela – “education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. With this in mind, the Peermont Community Benefit Trust will be spreading some Madiba magic to Welamlambo Primary School this Mandela Day!
They will be refurbishing and restocking the school’s library to improve the level of literacy and learning amongst the 1,000 younger learners at this school. Emperors Palace will be rolling up their sleeves on Friday, 17 July 2015 to help change the conditions of the school library by installing a new ceiling, new bookshelves, fitting new lights, tiling and painting. And, they need a little help with restocking the library.
Here, at Joburg.co.za HQ, we are helping this project by collecting children’s books, and we need your help! Whether you have one or two books laying around or a massive pile that your children no longer read, you can drop them off at our Ferndale offices, and we will ensure they will be delivered to the school on your behalf! Make a difference to young lives this Mandela Day!

If you wish to contribute to this initiative with the Peermont Community Benefit Trust and Emperors Palace, you can drop off your books at this address before Friday, 10 July 2015:
