If the Soccer World Cup extended holiday has left too many days open on the school holiday calendar for Mom to fill, then Gold Reef City Theme Park’s Jozi’s Winter Circus is the answer.
This year will see the popular traditional family entertainment circus production with a fun soccer twist, featuring extravagant new acts and world-class performers. Entertainment includes acrobats, musicians, clowns, Mongolian contortionists and much more. The soccer craze that has swept over the entire country will reach new heights, with an amazing Soccer Aerial Globe Act, whilst young and old will be astounded by the skills and dexterity of the Bafana Soccer Juggler.
Other highlights include a Flying Trapeze Act, pulling off daring feats like a double pike and passing leap; and the Mongolian Circus acts, consisting of a double girl contortion act, rhythmic gymnastic acts and Mongolian clown fun.
Two 40 minute performances shows take place daily from 10 June to 11 July 2010 at 12pm and 3pm. The Theme Park entrance fee includes admission to all shows at the Hippodrome and all rides, but excludes ‘Jozi’s Story of Gold.’ Gold Reef City Theme Park is open 7 days a week during Gauteng School Holidays.
