GoG Lifestyle Park – Lanseria
Those in-the-know can’t get enough of this adventure venue that provides and abundance of excitement, freedom and adventure for all ages, fitness levels and genders. Activities are graded according to how challenging it is – green (easy), blue (medium) and black (the ultimate challenge).
To be honest, it’s an absolute bargain. Entry is around R150 and includes ALL activities (including extreme activities) and you can stay there for as long as you like. Pack a picnic basket and/or braai meat (braai facilities are available) – you only need buy your drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at the onsite bar, restaurant and pop-up shop.

Stoke City Adventure Park – Midrand
Stoke City prides itself on being one of the premier water-based destinations available. Aimed at creating a variety of adventures, challenges and thrilling water sports, this venue provides outdoor excitement for waterspout junkies, beginners, fitness enthusiasts and those looking for a day outdoors!
The Cable Park is a real drawcard – a place where all skill levels can wakeboard and water-ski without owning a boat! The Water Park is perfect those looking for less adventure without compromising on excitement.

Pines Resort – Krugersdorp
Pines Resort is another unsung hero when it comes to a water-based day out. Featuring numerous slides, swimming pools, jumping castle, kiddies’ playground, braai facilities and shaded picnic spots, the resort has many positive reviews that make it worth checking out.
Kids can swim, slide and splash to their heart’s content for R100 – R140 for the day. You can pack your own picnic or buy toasted sandwiches and fries at the shop, plus the facilities are clean and well-maintained.
However, you must pre-book at Computicket AND print your tickets to be allowed entry. No tickets are sold at the gate.

Wild Waters – Boksburg
Yes, it’s still there – why mess with a good thing?
Featuring a variety of attractions including raging rapids, wave pool, super-tube slide, speed slide and Kamikaze slide, Wild Waters is a highly effective antidote to “Moooooom, I’m bored!” There are also jungle gyms, sandpits, braai areas, volleyball facilities and even a putt-putt course, as well an on-site tuck shop selling drinks and snacks.
