Join us on another magical trip to Toyland this summer! Emperors Palace and The Peoples Theatre are proud to present More Adventures of Noddy, a David Wood adaptation of Enid Blyton’s Noddy, consisting of two one-act plays – Noddy and the Noah’s Ark and Noddy and the Tootle. The show will run from Tuesday, 28th of November until Sunday, 24th of December in Ubunye Theatre at the entertainment complex.
Meet all your familiar favourites – including Big Ears, Whiskers, Bumpy Dog, Tessie Bear, Sam and Sally Skittle and Sly the Goblin – on an exciting quest through the Dark Forest in Noddy and the Noah’s Ark. In Act 2 join all your well-known Toyland friends as they meet the Great Tootle – a travelling magician who is able to make people dance by playing his penny whistle. Noddy and the Tootle is a brand new story by David Wood which incorporates elements of the original books and offers an original storyline that is splendidly child-friendly.
Under the careful direction of Keith Smith and Jill Girard, the Peoples Theatre’s More Adventures of Noddy promises to enthral with catchy tunes, fabulous costume and lighting design, and loads of audience participation. As always, a colourful and imaginative set provides the backdrop for teaching essential life skills, providing young audiences with a magical theatre experience totally different from anything that they have seen on television or read in a book.
There are two shows each day, 10h30 and 14h30.
