This July some good movies will be hitting the big screen. Here are the ones we’re most excited about.


Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2

The Turtles return to New York City to face the Foot Clan and Shredder, who has hired a T.C.R.I. scientist to create mutants in Bebop and Rocksteady. The heroes in a half-shell and their friends are forced to team up to protect the city, when it comes under attack from another threat in the form of Dimension X inhabitant, Krang.

Based on the Roald Dahl favourite, a girl named Sophie befriends the BFG, a big friendly giant, whose frightening first impression gives way to his good nature and kind spirit. Considered an outcast by his peers for not eating children, the two form an unlikely bond and embark on an adventure to capture the evil, man-eating giants who have invaded the human world.

Elvis & Nixon

On the morning of 21 December 1970, Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n Roll, appeared at the White House requesting an urgent meeting with President Richard Nixon to swear him in as a government agent. This true story and unexpected encounter was immortalised in one of the National Archives most popular photos and has become the basis for this amusing and revealing dramatisation.

Years after leaving the jungles of Africa and adopting a gentrified life in London as John Clayton III, Tarzan is invited back to his former home in the Congo as a trade emissary of Parliament. Unbeknown to him and his wife, Jane Porter, his homecoming is part of a deadly plot masterminded by the corrupt and greedy Belgian Captain, Léon Rom.
