A fascination for bodies (“physical, astral and dead, objectified, adored and hated”) lies behind this sombre comedy about three people trapped in individual universes of pain and absence.  Olga’s unprocessed grief over her dead mother manifests in self-hatred and severe anorexia. Her distant coroner father – a coroner – seems as unaffected by his daughter’s distress and the loss of his wife as by the dead bodies he deals with on a daily basis. Anna is a kind but lonely physical therapist with psychic abilities, who seeks to help the reluctant family to heal.

The Angry Birds Movie

The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In a paradise populated entirely by happy, flightless birds (well, almost entirely), Red, a bird with a temper problem, Chuck, a speed demon, and Bomb, the volatile, short-fused one, have always been outsiders. But, when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what those pigs are up to.

Mother’s Day

Intertwining stories revolve around a television host, a divorcee looking for love and a woman  who wants to strengthen her relationship with her mother. In a celebration of mothers everywhere, it’s laughter, tears, and love as three generations come together in the week leading up to Mother’s Day.

Before I wake

Jessie and Mark decide to take in sweet and loving 8-year-old boy Cody. Unbeknownst to them, Cody is terrified of falling asleep. At first, they assume his previous unstable homes caused his aversion to sleep, but they soon discover the real reason: Cody’s dreams manifest in reality as he sleeps. In one moment they experience the incredible wonder of Cody’s imagination, and in the next, the horrific nature of his night terrors.

X-Men Apocalypse

Upon awakening after thousands of years, Apocalypse is disillusioned with the world as he finds it, and recruits a team of powerful mutants; including a disheartened Magneto—to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which Apocalypse will reign.
