Warren Robertson is a Comic’s Choice Award nominee and has worked in both South Africa and the UK, including the Edinburgh Fringe. The Comedy Critic blog labeled him as the smartest of the lot and with good reason. He delivers razor-sharp, highly intelligent material that is unlike any other you would have heard.
Hailing from the streets of Welkom, Italian-born Vittorio Leonardi left home and successfully navigated the many pitfalls of a world with shoes and electricity in his travels around SA. From shoe sizes to the inner workings of the Roman Army; from heavy metal to relationship jargon, this comic takes the world, turns it sideways and gets us to see it as it could be if we’d all just reach behind our backs, pull out a cream pie, throw it and learn to laugh.
Shaun Wewege found early on that stand-up comedy was the perfect career for him, not just because he enjoys pubs, but because as a ginger he needs to avoid the outdoors. Hes a bit weird, socially inept and pale but a trip into his slightly warped mind is always funny (if not a bit disturbing).
