The president of South Africa’s National Association of Automobile Manufacturers, opened the press conference by stating that the expected investments into the motoring sector this year were an astounding R7.63 billion. This alone was enough to give the green light to the first SA Festival of Motoring which will be taking place from 31 August to 04 September 2016.
The five day festival is organised by Messe Frankfurt and the event provides a platform for automotive businesses to engage with potential clients and customers, providing them with unique experiences at The Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand.
The festival is inspired by the Goodwood Festival of Speed which takes place in Sussex, UK each year in June. The SA Festival of Motoring is expecting over 100 000 people to attend the festival.
