Day 1: Sabie River Lodge
Today you will transfer to Sabie from Johannesburg. The afternoon will be spent on a quad safari in the Matumi forest before settling down to a campfire and discussions on “long driving”.
Day2: Sabie River, Kruger Park
This morning is spent playing 18 holes at the Sabie River Golf Course. Water is plentiful on this course and is present in the form of a hazard on all but four of the 18 holes! After the challenging round the rest of the afternoon is spent at your leisure at the Sabie River Sun hotel. The hotel sits on the banks of the Sabie River in the majestic Mpumalanga Lowveld and is surrounded by 200 acres of lush bushveld.
Day 3: Hans Merensky, Kruger Park
Today you’ll leave Sabie River Sun en route to the Hans Merensky Golf Course, you’ll pass through the historical gold rush mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest. Afterwards it’s on to Hans Merensky where you’ll have time to improve your handicap. Don’t be surprised if you stumble across a giraffe determined to share the fairways with you and join your golf party! After the round we spend the evening at Leriba Golf Lodge.
Day 4: Mabalingwe
This morning you’re on the road to the Mabalingwe Golf Club for a last chance for you to perfect that swing. You’ll spend the evening at Ditholo Game lodge and enjoy interactive drumming.
You’ll depart back for Johannesburg in the afternoon; sadly your Kruger Golf safari has come to an end.
