SA’s Culinary Capital Is Coming To Montecasino!


Food lovers and wine enthusiasts, this is an event you definitely do not want to miss out on! The Culinary Capital of South Africa is making its way to Montecasino this August with the Franschhoek Food & Wine Festival, which will delight all of your senses!

Get the opportunity to indulge in divine cuisine from four of the winelands’ most popular restaurants and sip on a number of wines from 15 of the region’s top wineries. Plus, there will be loads more to tantalise your taste buds!

Sip on the finest wines Franschhoek has to offer. You can expect wines from Anthonij Ruper Wyne, Black Elephant Vintners, Boekenhoutskloof Winery, Boschendal, Morena, Glenwood and many more! Visitors can also treat themselves to offerings from the fine chocolatiers, Huguenot Fine Chocolates, and the best cheeses from Fromages de France, who will provide some authentic French-inspired food in an amazing sensory experience.

Friday, 28 to Sunday, 30 August 2015. Times are as follows:

Friday, 28 August 2014 – 18:00 to 22:00.

Saturday, 29 August 2015 – 12:30 to 16:30; and 18:00 to 22:00.

Sunday, 30 August 2015 – 12:30 to 16:30.

Outdoor Events Area at Montecasino, Montecasino Boulevard, Fourways.

How much is it?

General tickets cost R150 per person, which includes a glass. VIP hospitality costs R1,640 per person and includes complimentary premium bar, meal vouchers and set times for wine tasting with the winemakers from selected estates. Tickets are available at www.itickets.co.za.
