Where To Shop This Black Friday (2017)

The American nationwide super sale known as Black Friday has started showing its head in South Africa in recent years. Here is where to get the best deals in 2017.

Wallets, watches, and a whole wardrobe worth of good stuff. That’s what Spree is all about. The world of online shopping has been revolutionised and thanks to Spree you can buy brand new kicks and not lose out on Netflix time. On Friday 24 November 2017 Spree will be taking part in the worldwide phenomenon known as Black Friday when the world goes into sales mode. Be sure to keep an eye on their site as things are sure to sell out pretty quickly.

Our favourite site to buy everything from the latest A Tribe Called Quest album to bandsaws would be TakeAlot.com. This coming Friday the online megastore will be putting its own little twist on Black Friday by dubbing it the Blue Dot Sale. If you spend more than R250 you will receive free standard delivery. There will be a limited supply of some products so it’s a first come first serve type deal.

Total Sports

For those of us who enjoy staying active (or like to sit on the couch in sportswear), Total Sports is hosting a sale like no other. Head down to your local or store or skip the cue by shopping online – that’s what we’ll be doing. From sports tech to soccer boots Total Sports is your one-stop shop for all things active.

Sunglass Hut

Seeing as we’re headed for a blazing summer you’ll need some fly face gear for when the sun’s out. Thanks to Sunglass Hut jumping on to the Black Friday bandwagon we can take advantage of the latest designer shades and frames to suit our individual style. From big brands to indie creators, Sunglass Hut is the place to shop this Black Friday.

It’s all fun and games until Makro shows up at the Black Friday Johannesburg sale. For everything from corn flakes in bulk to big screen TVs, Makro will have what you need at a super discounted price. Head to any of the Makro marts around to take advantage of the Black Friday Johannesburg sale. If you subscribe to their newsletter you will be informed beforehand what we can expect from this Friday-to-Sunday sale. You can save up to 45% on selected good.
