Steampunk Dinner & Ball

Attention, explorers of the unknown, mad scientists, maidens of mechanical corsetry, dandies and urchins! For a fun evening of dressing up and enjoying Victorian technology, don’t miss out on Gauteng’s very first Steampunk Dinner & Ball!

What is it?

Ladies and gentlemen are invited to a ball like no other! This costume ball offers guests a platform to portray their interpretation of Steampunk. Consider this gathering a reinvention of future past! The time frame is anywhere from Victorian until about WWI. From the Belle Epoque in Europe and The Gilded Age in America, to Diesel Punk of Wild Wild West America, all interpretations are welcome. This is an evening formal-ish event, but be sure to dress up to fill in the requirements of your desire character. If your character wears a tiara to the opening of an envelope, that’s great. If your character just wipes off the soot from his welding goggles and grace everyone with his best overalls, that’s great too. Dress code is strongly Steampunk, there will also be a Cash bar available. Over 18s only!
