Stonehaven Spring Beer Festival

A new season brings a new celebration, and if you’re just as happy as we are that spring has finally arrived, then you don’t want to miss out on the Stonehaven Spring Beer Festival. Expect lots of fun, music, good food and, of course, beer!

What Was It?

The Stonehaven Spring Beer Festival. This popular annual event brings thousands of people together to celebrate the change of season on the banks of the Vaal River. The day was filled with performances by some of South Africa’s top bands, lots of great food to delight your taste buds and drinks aplenty to keep you refreshed throughout the day. The main stage lineup includes acts from Die Heuwels Fantasties, GoodLuck, Shortstraw and Dr Victor. And as for entertainment, be delighted by DJ Warren, Compere and Dave Hammond, boat races, the Stonehaven Bakery boasting home-made beer breads and cheeses, sweetie and toffee apple stands, homemade ginger beer, beer ice cream and milk shakes, craft beers and loads of free fun for the children. There’s certainly something for everyone.

Tickets cost R 80 per person and were available at Computicket. Kids 12 and under are R 20 per child and five and younger get FREE entrance.
