If you have a fondness for beautiful orchids, then be sure not to miss the 21st World Orchid Conference & Exhibition this weekend at the Sandton Convention Centre.
An exhibition dedicated to beautiful flora, the 21st World Orchid Conference & Exhibition will be showcasing a number of bromeliads, carnivorous plants, staghorn ferns, an assortment of rare and unusual collectors plants, and of course, a vast selection of orchids! The selection of orchids that will be available at the WOC21 include Cattleyas and Paphiopedilums from Suwada Orchid Nursery in Japan, Epidendrums from Orchid Valley Miura (Japan), warmth tolerant Cymbidiums from New Horizon Orchids (USA), Disa Flasks from Hildegard Crous (SA), Mascarene Orchid species from Malala Orchidees (Madagascar) and other African orchid species. And, at their merchandise booth, they will be promoting their new book Anyone Can Grow Orchids.
