Where will you be at the stroke of midnight on December 31st 2010? Will you be in a packed nightclub chatting up the unattractive (but available) girl or guy? Perhaps you will be somewhere that caters for the whole family?
We’ve asked each team member to round up a few ideas on places to go for a celebration on New Years Eve. Some are raucous and wild, some are more refined, some are suitable for everyone from granny to the grandkids.
For the families
New Year’s Eve has always been a bit of a low-key event for my family – we are not exactly party animals, and with two kids it is challenging to find a family-friendly venue, where everyone is entertained. So we were thrilled to discover Alfresco’s Italian restaurant just off Beyers Naude in Honeydew. It’s a great eatery any time of the year, with a huge outdoor play area where the kids can literally run wild in a safe environment. The restaurant is huge, with both indoor and outdoor eating, and the service is always friendly and efficient. It is also very popular so I suggest you book now.
