Tickets on Sale Now for the Nedbank Golf Challenge
Sun City Resort
Sun International has announced that tickets for Africa’s Major, the Nedbank Golf Challenge to be staged in early December 2008 are now available at Computicket. Ticket and hospitality packages are also available for the most coveted event in South African golf.
If last year’s tournament is anything to go on, fans should secure their tickets now. Trevor Immelman returns this year as defending champion. His white-knuckle finish when he triumphed over Justin Rose by one stroke made for excellent grandstand tension, at last year’s final round.
Tickets for the Pro-Am tournament to be played on Wednesday, 3rd of December cost R70.00 for adults and R35.00 for children under the age of 12. Tickets for the first and second rounds to be played on Thursday, 4th and Friday, 5th of December cost R175.00 (children R85.00), and entrance fees for the third and fourth rounds to be played on Saturday, 6th and Sunday, 7th of December respectively are R195.00 (children R95.00). Adults’ tickets include an official programme.
The Nedbank Golf challenge brings together tradition, excitement and professional competition and is one of the most watched sporting events. Tickets to this championship tournament are well priced and represent excellent value for those who want to experience the action first hand,” says Tournament Director, Alastair Roper.
Oasys is offering the option to include Hospitality services along with the purchase of Nedbank Golf Tournament access tickets. The Star Challenge Club offers an air-conditioned marquee with plasma screens, access to the Gary Player golf course and the opportunity to purchase food and beverages in a private and exclusive marquee area, for the price of R450.00 per person per day.
“The Star Challenge Club gives fans easy access to and from the Tournament grounds, whether they need a break from the crowd, access to private restrooms or food and refreshments,” says Brian Kennedy. “Our hospitality facility is less than 350 metres away from the 18th hole.”
