Picolino’s is the kind of place my young and more active self would have called my second home. It’s really more about the kids than anything else but isn’t that refreshing? They boast jumping castles, climbing walls, a sandpit, slides, swings, jungle gyms and a pedal go-kart track. Their pizzas are delicious and they also allow kids to make their own. Papachino’s have just opened their new branch in Morningside and the kids menu is, as usual, the real highlight. Their ‘Bambino’s Menu’ features healthy and almost entertaining food for the kiddies which I’m sure parents will agree, is sheer genius. They have a ‘Mince Volcano'(Mince and Mash) and Socca Shoelaces (Spaghetti and Meatballs) as well as pizza making for the little ones. The most expensive thing on the Bambino’s Menu is R36.
