Here are our top spots in the city that provide braai facilities if you’re looking to enjoy a day outdoors, picnicking, and playing some fun sports.

Innesfree Park  Sandton

Kick back, relax, and enjoy some fresh air at Innesfree Park. This is a great location if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Even though it’s situated in the heart of Sandton, it’s great for a quick escape during lunch or over the weekend. There are braai areas provided, just ensure you take your own portable braai, as well as picnic spots and two dams to explore.

Brookwood Estate – Cradle Of Humankind

Get out of the city for a day and enjoy a little break at Brookwood Estate in the Cradle Of Humankind. This is a great place if you are looking to get out with a family and enjoy a day filled with fun, sunshine, and picnicking. The whole family can enjoy an afternoon playing some putt-putt, visiting the animal farm, taking a ride on the steam train or tractor. Then, round off the day with a lovely family picnic or braai.
