Are We Offended Yet – Local Comedy

What do banting, parenthood and the Oscar Pistorious trial have in common? Any opinion on these topics is bound to offend at least one person!

“Are we offended yet?” by local comedian Shaun Wewege takes a look at offence; how easily it spreads on social media; and why we are so prone to outrage, often over seemingly inoffensive subjects. Shaun has been a regular on the local comedy circuit for the past decade but is embarking on his first solo which appears set to raise the roof and more than a few pulses!

With dark humour and absurd observations (think Jimmy Carr or Michael Mcintyre), Wewege has a knack for making audiences gasp. He finds new (and outrageous) meanings in common phrases and discusses topics most would not dare to touch. “Are we offended yet?” features stand-up comedy and animation, which includes a guest performance from Michael MacabreIntyre, the UK’s number one dark, observational cartoon comedian.

Make sure you book a ticket now and support the local comedy you love!
