Don’t Miss Round Two Of Joziburg Lane Festival

The first Joziburg Lane Festival at the end of May was a massive hit, and if you didn’t make it then, don’t worry… the second Joziburg Lane Festival is here! Be sure to check it out this weekend – 24-26 June.

While the lane is gearing up for its permanent opening in August 2016, a series of pre-launch events and festivals will continue to keep the excitement going.

What Is It?

Festivities start early this time round, with ‘Lunch In The City’, which begins at 12:00 on Friday, 24 June 2016, and continues into the evening. Festival goers can expect loads of shopping and amazing street foods from a selection of lane shops, deli stalls, and art and craft traders. The second Joziburg Lane Festival is a weekend affair, with everything open for trade on Saturday and Sunday too. For gourmet street food, craft drinks, music and much more, Joziburg Lane is the place to be. Apart from gourmet street food, Gordon Froud’s curated sculpture exhibitions in the residential courtyards of the One Eloff building will be open for viewing too.

Where Is It?

Joziburg Lane is at the No. One Eloff building, corner of Eloff Street and Wemmer Jubilee Street in Salisbury Claims, Johannesburg CBD. It’s easy to spot, as it’s the unmissable, massive yellow and blue building.

Getting there is as easy as taking the Rissik Street off-ramp from either direction on the M2. Once in Rissik Street, turn immediately right into Albert Street and right at the traffic light into Eloff Street. Then turn left into Wemmer Jubilee Street – the parking entrance is on the left in Wemmer Jubilee Street. Parking is available on the rooftop of the building.

Of course, it is really easy to take an Uber or meter taxi to Joziburg Lane too. From Gautrain Park Station, it is only a 7-minute drive to Joziburg Lane/No. One Eloff.
