Dozi en Vriende – Monday, 6th to Sunday, 12th of August, 2007

In August, Dozi en Vriende will perform in the Theatre of Marcellus, from 6 to 12 August. Dozi has hand picked guests to appear on stage with him, the list includes: Mel Botes; Abel Kraamsaal; Johme; Chris Chameleon; Jannie Moolman; Eben Smith; Robbie Wessels; Rooies; Anton Goosen; Ronaldo; Hugo; Andries Botha; Kurt Darren and Liesl Marx. This talented and incredibly popular South African musician helps promote “local is lekker”. Tickets start from R115 and shows start at 20h30.

Emperors Palace in association with Tyrone Watkins Productions presents Let’s Party, now performing in the Odeon Showbar. Running until mid September 2007, Let’s Party is filled with energy, glamour, hi-tec innovation not to mention skillfully choreographed dance sequences.

The Ugly Duckling – Wednesday, 19th of September to Sunday,14th of October, 2007

The Ugly Duckling will be followed by the popular Cinderella Tale. Both shows will be in the Ubunye Theatre. The interactive kiddies theatre is the perfect distraction for the young ones over the school holidays. Emperors Palace has introduced three shows over weekends due to the incredible demand over the school holidays.

Johnny Clegg ‘One Life’ – Thursday, 6th to Sunday, 16th of December, 2007

Johnny Clegg returns to the Emperors Palace stage. This will be a brand new show and Clegg will be performing songs from his new album of the same name – One Life. Featuring Thambela, Clegg’s first ever Zulu – Afrikaans crossover song as well as his first song written in three languages – Fresh; Zulu and English.
