The Easiest Game Day Nacho Snack

This is the quickest way to make nachos. If you’re fast enough you’ll be able to pull it off between ad breaks on TV. It’s a winner for Saturday ball game time and lazy Sunday evenings.


It’s half-time and you’ve got 15 minutes to prepare a snack for the second half of the game. This is what you’ll need to pull it off:

  • 1 big bag of Tortilla chips (the blue packet of Dorito’s will do just fine)
  • 2 cups grated mature cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa (chop up some tomato, red onion and coriander)
  • 4 tbsp diced green chillies (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Guacamole
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream

Scatter the chips over a microwavable plate, top with cheese and nuke it for about 50 seconds. Once the cheese is melted, top it with the salsa, chillies, guac and sour cream. Done!
