Good Vibes And Peanut Butter Bacon Cookies

Culture Kitchen for the win. The next time you are out and about keep an eye out for these culinary geniuses. They blew us away at the Scottish Leader Whisky in The Sky event with their Peanut Butter cookies.

What started out as friendly banter about something written on the side of a food truck soon turned into a review of one of Jozi’s coolest good food stalls. Culture Kitchen is a husband and wife collaboration that does not do fast food. Instead, they tackle the kitchen with one thing in mind: creating good food engineered by dreams… or something like that.

With this said, Culture Kitchen came up with this super cool and tasty idea to take peanut butter and bacon and turn it into a cookie the size of your palm. Now, that is innovation we can get behind. It’s brilliant, it’s tasty and it goes very well with a good India Pale Ale craft beer. Do yourself a favour, whenever you’re at a festival or a market and you spot the pretty little Culture Kitchen food truck run to it and buy up all their peanut butter and bacon cookies. Whatever you don’t finish in one sitting you can take home and freeze.

Be sure to check out their Facebook page and follow them on Twitter to find out where they will be headed next. Culture Kitchen also rocks a full fancy menu filled with wonderful creations that echo Joburg’s proud street food culture.
