Northgate Ice Rink Holiday Club
Keep your kids entertained these winter school holidays by letting them skate their hearts out at the Northgate Ice Rink Holiday Club which will be running daily from 08:00 – 17:00 from 02 – 06 July 2018 and again from 09 – 13 July 2018. The programme offers kids (ages between 6 – 13 years) loads of fun and action. Plus, they’ll be in great hands with the experienced facilitators. And as for their safety, the venue has a paramedic on duty and an access-controlled door. Dinosaurs of the Lost World at Cradlestone Mall
Cradlestone Mall will be bringing a bunch of prehistoric and long-forgotten giants and monsters to life these school holidays! Not only will it be educational and interesting, but it’ll also be something fun and exciting for the kids (and grownups too). These school holidays are going to be… “roar-some”! Sorry, we just had to throw that in there. Other than the massive T-Rex dinosaur display and 24 other animatronic dinosaurs throughout the mall, there’ll also be dinosaur-themed activities including live augmented reality, dinosaur rides, fossil digging and displays, an interactive play gym and even dinosaur face painting. Bright Young Chefs Holiday Club
Do your children enjoy cooking and getting their hands dirty? Of course they do! Bright Young Chefs will be hosting a winter holiday club to keep them busy and entertainment over the school holidays. The cost is R150 per session (three hours long) per child, which includes a chef’s hat, use of all the equipment and ingredients needed, refreshments, aprons (for use only) and takeaway containers. This one might be a tight squeeze considering it starts soon, but there are fun and educational Nutty Scientist holiday programmes happening at both the Nutty Scientist 1st River Trail Boys Scout Club in Bryanston and Nutty Scientist Huddle Park in Linksfield. Each location has two holiday programmes from 25 – 26 June and 28 – 29 June 2018. Take your pick from the Crazy Science Investigators where kids help the Nutty Scientists solve an epic mystery using fun science experiments or the Master of Disaster offering kids the opportunity to explore the wondrous disasters of the world by joining the Nutty Scientists on their journey to discover how, why, what and when these natural disasters occur. Are your kids creatives? If so, then make sure you enrol them into the Lillian Gray Holiday Art Programme before the end of this week! This holiday workshop will focus on a different artist each day of the programme.
