Moms catch a break with Mommys Little Helper
So you are in a bind. You have a boardroom meeting, a corporate golf day and your little one is turning two on Saturday but you haven’t even organised a tea station for granny. Why not call on Mommys Little Helper on the website alongside?
Designed to take some of the guesswork out of parenting, Mommys Little Helper will give you access to information, and people who specialise in the things we as parents or those involved in the lives of a preschooler, don’t. This national website will provide you with information about service providers that you can get stuff from, stuff to do with preschoolers or where to find anything party related from, taking this one step further than its competitors by including pricing of the services of these.
Says Jenny-Lee Williams, the mom behind the creation of Mommys Little Helper: “What makes this site unique is that it is not a paid for directory. This means that you will be able to find information on vendors that do not advertise as well as those that do, and to make the experience friendlier and more useful, I have given vendors a rating of ‘Good’, ‘Better’, or ‘Best’ based on my initial interaction with them.”
With news titbits, child health resources and useful tools such as inoculation charts and prescribed clinic visitation dates, not to mention guides on what to feed infants and recipes to keep toddlers entertained, the website is not just a directory of suppliers, but rather an online community, that will help you find the advice you need to raise your child to the best of your abilities.
“I think every parent has experienced the frustration of not being able to find the information they need in one place. The main reason I launched the site was because I just couldn’t seem to find a good online resource for parents of preschoolers. This is not a ‘yellow pages’ type of site, but a unique community that anyone can join,” she adds.
Other features of the site include a complete gallery to publish your pictures, news and information, a recipe index for meals suitable for your little ones.
This site is designed to be a practical guide, not just for moms but for dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles and anyone else who has anything to do with babies, toddlers and preschool children. Mommys Little Helper can be found on the website link alongside.
“We want you to interact with the website and share some of your solutions to real world parenting problems, from what movie to take your child to see, to where to hire a reputable au pair, to when you should take your baby, toddler or preschooler for his or her next immunisations. You will also find information on Mommys Little Helper that will direct you to sites with more information or to PDF downloads that have useful content,” ends Jenny-Lee.
