The School SleepOut 2018 Calls For Young Ambassadors

Brought to you by the founders of the ever-popular CEO SleepOut, the SchoolOut 2018 is set to create the philanthropists of tomorrow today.

Rise To The Challenge

Do you have what it takes to rise to the challenge, create empathy for the homeless and collect items for vulnerable communities? The School SleepOut initiative is looking for 18 dynamic young South Africans from across the country, from Grades 7 to 11, to apply. Two students from each province in South Africa will be appointed as ambassadors to promote their respective schools to participate in their own School SleepOut event.

The School SleepOut calls for school learners and teachers to spend a night outdoors at their school grounds, gaining empathy for the homeless and collecting items for those less fortunate . The School SleepOut takes place in solidarity with The CEO SleepOut, which sees Business Leaders, influencers and decision makers sleep on the streets, raising funds for selected primary beneficiaries. This year the SleepOut movement promises to be even more profound and even more significant than ever. On Wednesday 18 July 2018 as South Africa and the world celebrates Nelson Mandela’s 100th Birthday, Schools across the country will host their own Nelson Mandela School SleepOut – Empowered By Liliesleaf on their school grounds.
