The Swan Princess

In this enchanting adaptation, a beautiful young princess has a spell cast over her and her sisters by an evil wizard, and they are transformed into swans during daytime, and at night they all change back into humans.

Imagine the surprise and drama when a charming young Prince, who is on a hunting trip, is about to shoot the swan princess and before his eyes, at that very moment, she turns into a beautiful woman – the young couple then do what Princes and Princesses do best …. they fall in love! However there is trickery again in the story. The wizard, who is determined to win the Princess for himself, transforms his daughter into an identical look alike of the Princess. The imposter arrives at the ball and the suspense and drama intensify.

There are several twists and turns along the way as the woodland creatures try to help, and many ‘panto’ moments in On Cue Theatre’s special magic style. Dramatic scenes, comedy, excitement and charm fill the show, which emanate aspects of determination, true love and good triumphing over evil.

The cast comprises four professional actors who portray the many interesting and colorful characters in the play. Their talent exudes quirky characterization and convincing personae with brilliant dialog in the many witty, hilarious and sentimental scenes. As always there is something for all ages and heaps of splendid music.
