Meditation – An Introduction

On this half day course, Colinda Linde, senior student of Gen Kelsang Legden will explain the basics of Buddhist meditation, and how, through a regular practice of meditation, we are able to acquaint ourselves with more virtuous thoughts and attitudes, thereby finding the happiness that we are always searching for.
Topics on the day will include:
– How to reduce stress and worry
– How to improve our health and increase our happiness
– How to improve our relationships
– How to find meaning and purpose in life
– How to discover real and lasting inner peace
Colinda has been a student at the Vajrapani Buddhist Centre for many years and is currently studying on the Teachers Training Programme under the guidance of Gen Kelsang Legden, Buddhist Monk and Resident Teacher.
There will be a discussion group at the end of the course where we will be able to ask questions and exchange our own ideas of how to integrate these teachings into our modern lives.
This course is suitable for absolute beginners as well as for those who are more experienced.
